I've been coding since the 1980s, starting on an Acorn Atom. But my journey into professional software development started in the classroom—where I spent 25 years as an educator, including roles as Deputy Headteacher, Advanced Skills Teacher, and ICT Consultant for Building Schools for the Future with Kent County Council.
As an educator, I saw firsthand how the right tools could transform learning experiences—and how the wrong ones created unnecessary friction. When I couldn't find software that truly served my students' needs, I learned to build it myself. What began as automation scripts to save administrative time evolved into a passion for creating purposeful, logic-driven solutions that actually work for real users.
My background gives me a unique advantage: I've designed curricula, developed assessments, trained teachers, led whole-school ICT strategy, and supported over 20 young people as a foster carer—helping them access education and develop independence. I understand instructional design, learning pathways, and what educators actually need because I've lived it for 25 years.
Today, I specialize in building full-stack web applications and SaaS platforms on Replit, with deep expertise in educational technology, business automation, and AI development.
